4. Herbs for All Seasons
5. Portland Memory Garden

Senior Gardening Day

Refreshments and plenty of seating are provided, areas of activity are covered so the weather can be fair or foul and the day proceeds with everyone having a great time! In addition to activities, there is a special discount coupon for seniors; volunteers and nursery staff will be on hand to assist with shopping and answer questions.

Senior Gardening Day

Again this year we'll have on hand the perennial favorite live music at Senior Gardening Day, Reggie Houston and the Box of Chocolates – vintage and classic jazz favorites – 2-4 p.m.

Everyone is invited including seniors and their families, individuals and facilities serving seniors.

A much-anticipated event, groups from assisted living facilities and senior centers in the area reserve special field trips to attend and individuals come on their own or with family or friends. It is a day of crafts, learning, remembering and camaraderie.
